We are looking for an experienced Cashier to join our team at Kashew Cheese Deli! The ideal candidate should have strong math skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers as they enter, answer their questions, and provide information about menu items and pricing.

- Accurately and efficiently handle cash, card payments, and POS transactions.

- Maintain a clean and organized cashier area, including proper cash management, cash register reconciliations, and daily balancing.

- Resolve customer complaints and respond to customer questions in a polite and professional manner.

- Balance and complete daily cash reports and ensure that all cash drawers are accounted for at the end of each shift.

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure orders are accurate and timely.

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role.

- Knowledge of cashier procedures and cash handling policy.

- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to operate under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

- Good mathematical skills and the ability to count and handle cash and card transactions efficiently.

- Good understanding of basic computer software and POS systems.

- A positive and friendly attitude, with the willingness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment.
