We are seeking a motivated and experienced Chef Commis to join our team at Kashew Cheese Deli! The ideal candidate should have a passion for plant-based cuisine, strong work ethic, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation and production of the plant-based menu items according to the recipes and procedures established by our head chef.

- Ensure all food items are prepared and served to a high standard, in a timely and efficient manner.

- Follow all sanitation guidelines and food safety procedures, as outlined by our restaurant's protocols.

- Maintain high cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen area, including proper use of kitchen equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas.

- Collaborate with the front-of-house team, maintaining strong communication and a professional demeanor at all times.

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Chef Commis or equivalent role

- Knowledge of plant-based cooking techniques and ingredients preferred

- Ability to work early mornings, late evenings, holidays, and weekends, as required by our busy schedule.

- Good understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented, positive attitude.

- Commitment to upholding the values and brand of Kashew Cheese Deli.
